Director of Quality

The Quality Control Director to be responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the quality control department. This position is the gate keeper of data distribution throughout the organization. Trends, graphs, and other means of communication are used to assist in the continual improvement of processes and metrics key to the organization’s success.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain Operations Composite Metric and distribution
  • Data evaluation of: (with use of Excel and Minitab)
  • Foundry yield
  • Scrap rates
  • OTD
  • Credit Memos/Warranty cost
  • CARS/SCARS
  • ISO coordinator and maintenance
  • CMM programming and blueprint review
  • Key problem solving skills related to internal trials as well as customer satisfaction
  • Product certifications and conformances provided for customer orders
  • Supplier development and management.
  • Project improvement leader (Lean and 6 Sigma)
  • Personnel development
  • Gage design

Experience:

  • 7+ years relevant quality engineering experience.
  • ISO certification or working knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Proficient in Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable of ISO and International Regulatory requirements.

Education:
