Elkhart’s Vulcan® RF utilizes wireless electronic technology (W.E.T.®) to eliminate the need to operate a monitor from atop an apparatus, (an NFPA 1901 recommendation). The monitor has no control wiring and requires only 2-wire power connection. The wireless control allows operator to move away from the apparatus (up to ¼ mile) for a better view of the water stream. Vulcan® RF is the smallest device in its class on the market — requires just 16” of clearance — which makes it ideal for tight spaces. Dual-speed horizontal drive allows fast and precise targeting of stream, while the patented rotating connector allows unlimited 360° rotation. This monitor also has patented, easy, on-scene programming of oscillation for exposure protection or hazardous material suppression. Available in several ISM bands for license free use around the world.
